Story of a Poet: #36. ~Ordinary He; Elegant She~

Once upon a time…
Lived he and she
In a time so prime
Forever, to be.

Rude,was he.
Cute, was she.

Young, were they.
Dumb? No way.

Ordinary, he was.
Elegant, she was.

Strangely, they met.
Eyes, dilate.

Aberrant? No, wait.
Little, they ameliorate.

Dreams, of her.
Eden. Sober.

Ardent, was he.
Despite, homely.

One day, she spoke
Listen! O bloke.

Shied, did he.
Blinked, “Now see.”

Help, she needed.
Seemed, they blended.

Notebooks, completed.
Hairstyle, he mended.

Now someone, he was
Yet, famed, she was.

Friends, they became.
Reached, to fame.

Thoughts, of him
Slowly, to rim.

Converge, they did.
Slowly, they slid.

Words, said they.
Daily, some way.

He’s feeling,
She thought.
On confronting,
He brought.

Diffident, he hummed.
Dolorous, she turned.

“I’m sorry”, I believed.
Why? You deceived.

Misconstrued, did she.
Innocent, was he.

He moaned.
He cried.
“Listen. Once please.”
Strained.
She replied,
“Please. Just leave.”

Then one day.

Who did it?
He then knew.
Everything.
Seemed so new.

Threatened, was he.
Alone. To antipathy.

Enemies, of him.
Broke, his dream.

Glances, were spared.
Disabused? He never.

Friendly, they left.
Hatred, was felt.

Truth, was hidden.
From her, forbidden.
How long? He said.
May be. I’m glad.

Her heart, once melt.
Someway, of guilt.

Sorry, said she.
Stern, was he.

“Please. Forgive.
Forget. Gently.”

“Off now. Truly.
Forgot. Harshly.”

Something, was pretended.
That day, it ended.

Pain, to name.
Strangers, again.

No one, knew why.
Mimed. He lied.

They met, everyday.
But never said, a ‘Hey’.

Severed, they blew.
Reasons? Just a few.

A fable, was made
Quoted, it read:

“Strangely, they met;
Friends, they became.
Friendly, they left;
Strangers, again.”

I see your excitement has made you a “chalti-firti” poet. ahah 😀
Its purely fictitious. It can’t be real. No where on this earth even. 🙂
But, I’m glad you loved it.
Your favorite is my favorite. Trust me. 😀

Actually. Mine was a simple one.

Quitting? Ending would be more appropriate word. 😉
