I wish I had good voice. I would have sung this Urdu poem as a Nasheed because I so much love it. All the way I kept humming in my mind the rhythm of this poem if it were.
May be, one day I’ll try.
But, sad.
Anyway. Here’s the last one of this series.
Aye Maula tu hidaayat de
Mere aansu ke sadke mein
Mere sajdon ko himmat de
Tu kar mujhpe karam apna
Fazal se apni qurbat de
Jo tu na ho bar_nazar mujhko
Main chaahun na wo jannat de
Hain bahot faasle
Dil bhi mere sile
Na raha ghum koii
Na koii silsilay
Kar nigaahein karam
Na rahe ye bharam
Hain bahot se sitam
Hain ye palkein bhi numm
Ab hain khali se ham
Nekiyaan bhi hain kam
Kar de fazl o karam
De de jannat o aman
Haii bahot bebasii
Bewajah si hansii
Zulm o sitam hi sahi
Bezubaan si khaamoshi
Main karun kya bataa
Teri Hamd o sana
Mere lafz o zubaan
Hain adhure yahaan
Shehvaton mein ho tum
Dhadkanon mein ho tum
Meri chaahat bhi tum
Ho nigaahon mein tum
